We discussed using a feed or blog reader (like a Google Reader) as the quickest and easiest way to read a blog postings. One of the benefits of using a feed reader (rather than going to the blog site itself–analogous to you going to a store to buy a newspaper) is that feed reader allows you to subscribe (just like a newspaper) to the blog site postings and have the postings delivered to you (again, just like a newspaper) via the blog reader.

One of the most popular blog reader is the Google Reader. It’s easy to use, feature-rich and free. To received feeds (postings, comments, etc.) from this blog site and into your Google reader, simply click on the “Google Reader” icon on the right-hand side of the this blog site’s page and that’s it. You’ve just subscribed.

There are other feed readers to choose from as you can see. I haven’t used other feed readers yet so I don’t know what the major differences are.

We just completed our 2nd Keller Williams Internet Lead Generation (ILG) course presented at San Mateo office yesterday, March 1, 2007. We had a great turnout of very enthusiastic attendees.

I have added materials to the course from my learnings from Michael Russer’s ePower course (insights into the Internet client) and Dustin Luther’s Finding Relevance on the Internet Seminar (the benefits of blogs & blogging to a real estate agent’s business).
